EE Builds Health Gallery at Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center

Exhibit Engineering has been contracted to develop and produce 23 interactive exhibits for the new Health Gallery My Body Works at the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center in Mobile, Alabama.

Exhibit Engineering’s responsibilities include technical development, engineering and final production of interactive exhibit components as well as software development and programming.

The new gallery will include over 50 educational/entertaining health-science exhibits and a professionally equipped Bio Lab for hands-on learning and career development. The gallery, unique to the region, will apply many leading- edge interactive exhibit technologies. The new exhibits will be presented in the gallery’s five zones: General Anatomy, Eat Right for Life, Fit for Life, Cyber Surgery and the Bio Lab.

Among the dynamic, custom-designed educational exhibits in the gallery will be adaptations of some of Exhibit Engineering’s proprietary products including I-Viewer, a sliding interactive touchscreen and Augmented Reality technology.

The new My Body Works Gallery is scheduled to open in January 2009. The gallery is designed to fascinate adults and children alike as they explore how their bodies work, and familiarize themselves with critical public health issues such as obesity, now reaching epidemic proportions across the nation.
