Since 1965 Foy
Gilmore has earned national and international recognition for his design
and construction of specialized vehicles, including a World Land Speed
Record Holder. Foy built his first dragster at the age of 17 and his
first supercharged car at the age of 19. He is an Aircraft Certified
welder and has repaired aircraft parts for the local Navy Flying Cadet
School in Pensacola Florida. He was an instructor for welding and
machine fabrication for local manufacturing plants in the Pensacola
area.
Foy has turned his
talents for working in exotic metals and materials to exhibit
fabrication and enjoys the challenge that building complex interactive
exhibits brings. He enjoys working as part the Exhibit Engineering Team.
